Well, the short answer is that it boils down to design and printing costs. At Typesettr, we take care of the design of your thesis, while the printing is outsourced to one of our recommended partners. Alternatively, you can obtain the pricing details for printing directly from your chosen printer. We are here to provide guidance and advice based on your specific requirements.
In the first step, we lay the groundwork by preparing for the thesis design process. We introduce ourselves and conduct an intake to understand your specific requirements and preferences.
During this stage, we present the design concept based on your styling preferences and content from your own thesis, showcasing the creative and personalized elements of your thesis. You can make any adjustments as required.
In this phase, after you have approved the layout and styling, the rest of the thesis is processed. we dive into crafting the complete design of your thesis, ensuring a cohesive and polished presentation of your research.
After your designer completes the thesis design, we send the files to the printer for a test print. You'll receive a digital and physical print for review - this is what we call the test print. If you have any minor corrections, your designer can make those adjustments for you, as you have one correction round available after the proof print.
Following the test print and final corrections, your thesis is set for printing. Upon your approval, we send the final files to the printer for production. The printing process typically takes about two weeks from the date we submit the files for production.
